Due to the color of a variety of mountain ranges bordering the sea, the Europeans have called the Red Sea “red” since antiquity, the Romans called it "Mare Rubum" and the Arabs have taken over the name and call it El Bahr El Ahmer.  The Red Sea is nature’s gift to the Middle East, running from north to southeast  about 1600 miles in length, and 120 to 240 miles in width.

The Red Sea one of  nature’s last frontiers has recently been discovered by avid adventurers and water sport enthusiasts. This tropical sea has slightly varying climatic conditions all year round, not to mention spectacular clear water, and wonderful marine life including coral reefs and their habitants. 

 

HURGHADA
If you are looking for spectacular Scuba diving (including certification programs), snorkeling, deep sea fishing and underwater photography head for this wonderland in the desert – HURGHADA. Situated 385 km south of Suez, Hurghada is noted for its fine fishing. This beautiful aquatic town, with clear blue sea  is surrounded by mountains, desert, and a clean sandy shore. The area surrounding the town as been developed as a luxurious resort area, including many major international hotel chains. 


 
 Tour 1 - 8 Nights/9 Days - Hurghada - Cairo & Red Sea
 
DAY 1 – Arrival: – Airport Transfer to your hotel – Evening Nile Dinner Cruise. (D) 

DAY 2 – Cairo - Pyramids/Sphinx: -  Onto the great Pyramids of Giza, one of the ancient wonders of the world, where you will see the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. (Option for entry into small Pyramid and camel ride  US)  Transfer by road to Hurghada on the Red Sea (6-7 hours). Option for flight upgrade, prices available on request. (B,L)

DAY 3/4/5/6 – Hurghada: - At leisure in Hurghada – options for water sports and diving programs. (B)
 

DAY 7 – Hurghada - Cairo: Transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo (6-7hours) (Option for flight upgrade, prices available on request) (B)

DAY 8 – Cairo - Egyptian Museum/Citadel/Mosque/Khan el Khalili Bazaar/Coptic Churches: - Visit the Egyptian museum where you will see the treasures of  Tutankhamen..Visit Islamic Cairo – the Citadel, the Alabaster and Sultan Hassan Mosques and the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, then onto Coptic Cairo and some of the oldest churches in Christianity. (B,L) 

DAY 9 – Cairo - Home: - Transfer to Airport for your flight home.
